1-Pick a specific subject and stick to it.
2-Do not drift.
3-Use SEO  (keywords) words such as dummy, sex, drugs, free, scandal, violence, Trump. etc. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. 
 The search engines loves hot words.They pick them out and may lead them to your blog. You do not even have to know what a search engine is. Search engines know you.                                      
4-Find a subject that really interests you. Write for yourself and the audience will find you.
5-Check other blogs and offer comments no matter how stupid and boring they are. Then, ask permission to post a link to your own blog. You will probably get it and may attract valuable, new traffic.
 6-Remember, at all times that Google AdSense is the place that keeps a record of all the looks and visitors that your blog attracts.
It is the money. Google Adsense is your boss. It keep great records of everything on your blog so you can measure all of your statistics continually..
 7-Use Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Google+ and every other     platform to promote your blog. Post your link to your blog and     SEO words to bring viewers to your blog. 
 9-Learn how to read the Google Adsense reports that you are sent continually. If you have a brain you can figure out how to analyze your writing and improve the content.
10-I cannot read the Adsense reports because I am too old and        stupid but you probably can. Teach me someone.
11-Be ready for disappointment as you see shitty results or no results despite writing your brains out. That's my story. 
12-It's just so much fun when you make a few pennies like I just did from your writing. It's kind of like playing golf. One good hit keeps you coming back.
