They pay monthly after you make $100.00 It is not sophisticated enough for many experienced bloggers. Look elsewhere for other blogs if you already are an experienced blogger. There are hundreds of millions of people who search and use blogs. At least get in the game.

There are many different types of blogs, differing not only in the type of content, but also in the way that content is delivered or written.

Personal blogs

The personal blog is an ongoing online diary or commentary written by an individual, rather than a corporation or organization. While the vast majority of personal blogs attract very few readers, other than the blogger's immediate family and friends, a small number of personal blogs have become popular, to the point that they have attracted lucrative advertising sponsorship. A tiny number of personal bloggers have become famous, both in the online community and in the real world.

Collaborative blogs or group blogs

A type of weblog in which posts are written and published by more than one author. The majority of high-profile collaborative blogs are based around a single uniting theme, such as politics, technology or advocacy. In recent years, the blogosphere has seen the emergence and growing popularity of more collaborative efforts, often set up by already established bloggers wishing to pool time and resources, both to reduce the pressure of maintaining a popular website and to attract a larger readership.

Microblogging

Microblogging is the practice of posting small pieces of digital content—which could be text, pictures, links, short videos, or other media—on the Internet. Microblogging offers a portable communication mode that feels organic and spontaneous to many users. It has captured the public imagination, in part because the short posts are easy to read on the go or when waiting. Friends use it to keep in touch, business associates use it to coordinate meetings or share useful resources, and celebrities and politicians (or their publicists) microblog about concert dates, lectures, book releases, or tour schedules. A wide and growing range of add-on tools enables sophisticated updates and interaction with other applications. The resulting profusion of functionality is helping to define new possibilities for this type of communication.[32] Examples of these include Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and, by far the largest, WeiBo.

Corporate and organizational blogs

A blog can be private, as in most cases, or it can be for business or not-for-profit organization or government purposes. Blogs used internally, and only available to employees via an Intranet are called corporate blogs. Companies use internal corporate blogs enhance the communication, culture and employee engagement in a corporation. Internal corporate blogs can be used to communicate news about company policies or procedures, build employee esprit de corps and improve morale. Companies and other organizations also use external, publicly accessible blogs for marketing, branding, or public relations purposes. Some organizations have a blog authored by their executive; in practice, many of these executive blog posts are penned by a ghostwriter, who makes posts in the style of the credited author. Similar blogs for clubs and societies are called club blogs, group blogs, or by similar names; typical use is to inform members and other interested parties of club and member activities.

Aggregated blogs

Individuals or organization may aggregate selected feeds on specific topic, product or service and provide combined view for its readers. This allows readers to concentrate on reading instead of searching for quality on-topic content and managing subscriptions. Many such aggregation called planets from name of Planet (software) that perform such aggregation, hosting sites usually have planet. subdomain in domain name (like http://planet.gnome.org/).

By genre

Some blogs focus on a particular subject, such as political blogs, journalism blogs, health blogs, travel blogs (also known as travelogs), gardening blogs, house blogs, Book Blogs,[33][34] fashion blogs, beauty blogs, lifestyle blogs, party blogs, wedding blogs, photography blogs, project blogs, psychology blogs, sociology blogs, education blogs, niche blogs, classical music blogs, quizzing blogs, legal blogs (often referred to as a blawgs), or dreamlogs. How-to/Tutorial blogs are becoming increasing popular.[35] Two common types of genre blogs are art blogs and music blogs. A blog featuring discussions especially about home and family is not uncommonly called a mom blog and one made popular is by Erica Diamond who created Womenonthefence.com which is syndicated to over two million readers monthly.[36][37][38][39][40][41] While not a legitimate type of blog, one used for the sole purpose of spamming is known as a splog.

By media type

A blog comprising videos is called a vlog, one comprising links is called a linklog, a site containing a portfolio of sketches is called a sketchblog or one comprising photos is called a photoblog. Blogs with shorter posts and mixed media types are called tumblelogs. Blogs that are written on typewriters and then scanned are called typecast or typecast blogs. A rare type of blog hosted on the Gopher Protocol is known as a phlog.

By device

A blog can also be defined by which type of device is used to compose it. A blog written by a mobile device like a mobile phone or PDA could be called a moblog.[42] One early blog was Wearable Wireless Webcam, an online shared diary of a person's personal life combining text, video, and pictures transmitted live from a wearable computer and EyeTap device to a web site. This practice of semi-automated blogging with live video together with text was referred to as sousveillance. Such journals have been used as evidence in legal matters.[citation needed]

Reverse blog

A reverse blog is composed by its users rather than a single blogger. This system has the characteristics of a blog, and the writing of several authors. These can be written by several contributing authors on a topic, or opened up for anyone to write. There is typically some limit to the number of entries to keep it from operating like a web forum.[citation needed]

Community and cataloging

Blogosphere

The collective community of all blogs and blog authors, particularly notable and widely read blogs, is known as the blogosphere. Since all blogs are on the internet by definition, they may be seen as interconnected and socially networked, through blogrolls, comments, linkbacks (refbacks, trackbacks or pingbacks), and backlinks. Discussions "in the blogosphere" are occasionally used by the media as a gauge of public opinion on various issues. Because new, untapped communities of bloggers and their readers can emerge in the space of a few years, Internet marketers pay close attention to "trends in the blogosphere".[43]

Blog search engines

Several blog search engines have been used to search blog contents, such as BloglinesBlogScope, and Technorati. Technorati was one of the more popular blog search engines, but the website stopped indexing blogs and assigning authority scores in May 2014. The research community is working on going beyond simple keyword search, by inventing new ways to navigate through huge amounts of information present in the blogosphere, as demonstrated by projects like BlogScope, which was shut down in 2012.[citation needed]

Blogging communities and directories

Several online communities exist that connect people to blogs and bloggers to other bloggers. Some of these communities include Indiblogger, Blogadda, Blog Chatter, BlogCatalog and MyBlogLog.[44] Interest-specific blogging platforms are also available. For instance, Blogster has a sizable community of political bloggers among its members. Global Voices aggregates international bloggers, "with emphasis on voices that are not ordinarily heard in international mainstream media."[45]

Blogging and advertising

It is common for blogs to feature banner advertisements or promotional content, either to financially benefit the blogger, support website hosting costs, or to promote the blogger's favorite causes or products. The popularity of blogs has also given rise to "fake blogs" in which a company will create a fictional blog as a marketing tool to promote a product.[46]

As the popularity of blogging continues to rise, the commercialisation of blogging is rapidly increasing. Many corporations and companies collaborate with bloggers to increase advertising and engage online communities towards their products. In the book Fans, Bloggers, and Gamers, Henry Jenkins stated that "Bloggers take knowledge in their own hands, enabling successful navigation within and between these emerging knowledge cultures. One can see such behaviour as co-optation into commodity culture insofar as it sometimes collaborates with corporate interests, but one can also see it as increasing the diversity of media culture, providing opportunities for greater inclusiveness, and making more responsive to consumers."

FREE TIPS TO START AN ONLINE BUSINESS ON GOOGLE BLOGGER

For a long time I have been researching ways to make money from home on my blog. I have not had much success although I have tried many different types of writing and online businesses. Some of it has to do with my lack of computer skills. Also, I have never hit the right idea.

I have learned about many different types of online businesses by thousands of hours of personal experience and research.

I am offering my audience useful tips and knowledge.

The first thing that must be done is to start a blog which can be created  for free.  I created a free blog from #Google. It is called #Blogger and is owned by #Google.

 My blog is kingdavidsplace.blogspot.com

Google has a dept. called #Adsense which keeps track of all the visitors and clicks you get on your #Blogger blog. All of your activity is  recorded by #Adsense which is the department you are paid from owned by #Google.

I have had my blog for many years. There is over 300 pieces written of all types from screen plays to psychology for you to view.    Check it out,

I am offering you a few ideas to consider.

One thing that is essential for your online business is a blog. There are blogs on every subject imaginable. Spend time studying what others do.

.Attracting blog viewers is where the money is and you must keep writing fresh copy constantly. So, find something you love and create your blog about it.

Google will get your knowledge  to interested viewers. That is how they make money.

When your blog gets clicks everyone makes cash. That sounds easy but is very hard to do.

Look at all the stories of internet millionaires. The next one could be you. But, you must try. Start now.

Here are Free ways to make money online.

Punch up Google blogger. Create your blog. You are almost done.

Within a short time, like minutes, you will be set up to enter whatever copy you want to write in your blog. Forget all the fancy, bells, whistles, and technical things you have heard about blogging .

They mean nothing. Just write. Get that blog going which a child can do. You can be up and running in 20 minutes.  I cannot understand computers or follow simple directions.

 I can blog.

You just have to know about something that others want to know about and write.

Hundreds of millions of people are out there and Google knows how to find them.

MANY NEED TO FIND YOUR BLOG.

#Googles search engines delivers your content to people who are searching the web for what you are offering. Write interesting content and everything else will take care of itself.

You may be a genius. But, who cares if no one reads what you write. Put your stuff out there and you will be found.

OKAY.

You are ready.

1-Start a blog.

Go to #Google #Blogger.

Write informative, interesting, useful, beneficial content and you will attract people to your blog. Google makes money from your work so they will deliver the viewers. It really is simple to blog.

#Googles Adsense department does your bookkeeping and pays you each month by the amount of clicks your blog gets. You have to make $100.00 to get a check but its cumulative.

Look at the internet by searching Google until you find a subject or several subjects you want to blog about. Then, make a plan and go to work. Now.

2-CONSULTING

You are really be smart about many things. Teach. Come up with information or directions that other people can learn and use. Give them free samples so they want more from you.  Charge a competitive price for your services. Be fair. You will develop a loyal audience and get good reviews. Feedback is gold.

Earn it.

3- SET UP ONLINE COURSES

Teaching online is huge.  Your expertise can be on one or many subjects, You can advertise your  blog free all over. Facebook, Twitter, or any social media is a good starting point.

Give your prospective students relevant information. Prepare references, answers to questions and samples your prospective students will want to evaluate. Check around the internet for competitive pricing.

PEOPLE NEED YOU

Remember, just because you know how to fix a dishwasher or attach a shower head does not mean most other people can do. They will pay you to help them..

 SET UP A U-TUBE ACCOUNT

Come up with something creative that can be done on any subject. U-Tube is an internet video watched by millions of people putting on a U-Tube productions. If your U-Tube idea catches on people from all around the world will rush to see your production. You will get rich quickly or at least make lots of money.

Most U-Tube ideas.  So what? But, if you succeed and put out a  video that hits the jackpot you will make a fortune.

Any subject can work. Check it out.

5-  CONSIDER BOOK SALES-

Selling books on line is something I used to do on ebay. Than, Amazon took over the book market which shut out most of the small vendors.

However, there is still money to be made if you want to dedicate an effort against the army of book sellers.

Used books can easily be bought cheap or gotten free all over the place. Salvation Army, Goodwill, libraries, Craigs list, estate sales, auctions, churches and synagogues for starters are always offering thousands of used and new books.

But, books must be transported and stored,  Pictures of each book must be taken and lots of reading and inspecting must be done before offering them online.

Ultimately, most of the books listed do not sell.

Endless trips to ship sold books must be made to the post office.

But, revenues are generated and you can find valuable, rare books which sell for lots of money. So, good luck and buy good magnifying glasses. Check #Amazon books.

These are a few free ideas.

It took me 2 hours to compose this.

Hopefully, I will get clicks.

Good Luck

David

BULLIED: MY FRIEND THE GOLF COURSE BULLY

I always play golf on the weekends with a group of about eight guys. We are all personal friends some closer than others.

I am very good friends with one of the guys. We are all between the ages of forty five and seventy two years old me being the oldest.

I have experienced a lifetime of being bullied whether it is mental or physical. I've made a very big effort to stand up for myself with words and deeds. It is scary and tormenting to act when you are afraid but one must face fear when necessary.

Sometimes I succeed and many other times I do not in defending myself. Complicating things is my severe lifelong emotional disorder with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Without going deep into an analysis of my particular condition which centers around fighting back when I feel victimized I will point out a case in point to explain exactly why I feel bullied right now.

The guy I am very close to is also a bully. His bullying tools are not his muscles but his mouth and alpha personality.

I love this guy usually. We have a ton of fun and mutual understanding when he is not being an abusive asshole. I believe he really does not want to be a bully.

I have called him out on it many times but bullying is baked into his personality. He has responded to my unprofessional but intelligent therapies to some degrees. But, not enough.

We have disagreements and he gets defensive because he thinks I am bullying him with words and abstract concepts which are a problem for him. He thinks I am too smart which is not true.

Anyway, he told me big words intimidate him so I try not to use them.

Unlike him, I try to control my vocabulary when around him. He does not extend me the same sensitivity.

My main problem with him occurs on the golf course. He is a great golfer. I am a bad golfer who keeps on playing because I love the game,

I do have moments of brilliance, and I love and hate playing with my bully friend who is both my cheering section and my relentless taskmaster when I do not follow his instructions or disagree with him.

Last night I called another guy in the group who makes the golf time reservations. I played so badly yesterday and my back was so sore that I called him to cancel myself for today's game.

I wanted to make sure I was not causing a problem for anyone else in screwing up the times. He said no problem so I thanked him and went to sleep.

Today, I awoke to find a text from my main tormentor. It simply had a thumbs down symbol on the message. My frenemy learned I cancelled out and did not know if I was sick, hurt, or just did not want to play.

He did not care.

He narcissistically reacted by punishing me. He likes me being out there because the guy strangely does love me. I have empathized with this man through many of his own issues where he needed comfort, and understanding.

That mattered not when he saw I would not play today. To defend myself I left him a voice mail which he did not yet respond to.

I also wrote him a text in which I said that if he sent the thumbs down symbol because of being very disappointed I will not be there that's one thing.

If he sent it because he is angry that I blew off the game that is something else.

I wrote that if you did it just to make me feel bad you lack empathy which is a subject we have discussed.

We will see what happens. It's probably wasted words.

So, that is my story this morning, I have decided to write about my experiences in my seventy two years of being victimized.

Being bullied has literally driven me crazy. It has also made me stronger and wiser.

I will share stories and accept your stories if a bullying blog takes off.

I hope it does because we all have stories to tell and read about..

EARNING MONEY FROM MY GOOGLE BLOGGER BLOG

There is hope for my blog. I actually made about $2.00 from AdSense in a few days.  AdSense is the Google tracker that records and credits Blogger on Google Blogger as to how many clicks you get on  articles posted on your blog.

It's just so brutally hard for a 70 year old guy who is not computer literate to succeed in blogging. That's because despite Google AdSense sending reports and helping with very technical support it is just too hard to understand the Google information.

I'm sure I could have built a large audience by now if I understood a few moves that I could make to build traffic. But, I do not have the smarts to understand the subjects required.

So, I just keep writing and hoping the strength of my content will be strong enough to draw an audience to my blog. I also do know how to promote my blog on Twitter. But, I do not know anywhere near what a good blogger knows. I am weak at promoting my good blog.

However, for the last few months it is all about how I detest Donald Trump. So, don't read my blog if you are a Trump supporter and do not want to hear negative, critical stuff about Trump.

But, I do love to write and just a few responses makes me happy. So, the 2 bucks I saw credited to my weak Adsense account has made me happy.
So, I am writing again.
Read and click and comment please.

GOOGLE BLOGGER SUCCESS STORY GRANDPA MAKES MONEY AND SHARES THE SECRET

Do you want to know how to make money on Google Adsense?
I finally figured it out.  Google Adsense is the Google tracking system where you get paid from Google on the number of clicks or looks your blog pages get from the internet universe.

Your blog followers, either new people or repeat viewers, who click on your blog then see the ads that Google sells to people to run on your blog pages. Traffic is the key to any blog. The more traffic your blog attracts the more chances there are that your advertisers will get responses. Remember, the main thing that gets and keeps traffic coming to your blog is great content. Content is king. Every click on your blog can be worth cash. Remember that.

Google advertisers have their ads placed based on the content you provide your audience.  If you have a blog, for example, that offers information on sex then Google will sell ad space to advertisers who sell dildos, lingerie, aphrodisiacs, vibrators, handcuffs, lubricants, massage oils, etc.

So, think of a subject you are very interested in. It can be anything at all. If women's underwear is your thing then write compelling stories about all aspects of women's underwear. But do it right. Be a ferocious reader and researcher. Learn more about women's underwear then any other blogger. Make womens underwear your life.

Always write fresh, interesting, unique, quality content. An effective blogger should stay on a narrow subject so viewers know what to expect. Draw them into your blog. Feed your followers great, original, material to read. Make them want to to get to your blog like an addict wants to get to their drugs.

Keep writing constantly. Stay only on the subject of your blog. It is easy to drift. Don't. Stay focused. Remember, the narrower the lens the wider the focus. You can find endless amounts of material on anything. Hundreds of millions of people are into blogs continually. Find things that captivates and educates them. Then, hook them and you win.

Do not get discouraged. Start working your ass off pouring heart and soul into your blog. Expect to make no money or just pennies for a long time. Just keep grinding like I did. Eventually, the world will beat a path to your door.

I have blogged on Blogger by Google forever. It is a free platform and perfect for beginners. Adsense keeps track of everything you earn. Blogger keeps a list of all your blog posts.

me out.  I ain't no genius. Just a 70 yr. old dude who likes to write. Most the time I cannot even figure out what works on my blog and what does not. Check my blog out and offer comments or ask questions. Good luck

This Blog Sucks

This blog sucks. I can't even get comments when I offer to give away money for comments. How in the world does anyone get a good blog going?

I have tons of really interesting articles posted. Unfortunately, I have only made about 12 cents in 2 years with over 120 posts. Everyone  keeps telling me "content, content, content."  OK.                                  Here is more content all of you geniuses. Now what?

I am ready to quit blogging
